Vizhinjam Seaport handles 2 million TEUs in 20 months of operations
Vizhinjam International Seaport (IN TRV01) has achieved a major milestone by handling 20,00,005 TEUs (2 million TEUs) and receiving 953 vessels within just 20 months of operations.
The achievement marks an important point in the port’s operations, reflecting the scale of cargo movement and vessel traffic handled since operations began. Within a period of 20 months, the seaport processed more than 2 million TEUs while also receiving 953 vessels, highlighting its operational activity during the period.
The latest milestone comes as Vizhinjam International Seaport continues to record growth in container handling and vessel movements in the early phase of its operations.
